Social Media Writer
soc-media-writer/
Social posts and video scripts built on named copywriting frameworks, strong hooks and retention beats. For video it writes the voiceover, a timed shot list and notes on why it works.

Social content engineered around named copywriting frameworks, scroll-stopping hooks, and retention mechanics.
Why use it
- Generic AI copy reads like generic AI copy, and dies in the first two seconds.
- A script with no retention plan loses the viewer at 0:07 and nobody knows why.
What it does
- For video: three coordinated outputs, the spoken dialogue, a timed two-column video scenario (shot list + visual cues), and an explanation of the frameworks, hook and retention beats used.
- Standalone posts for LinkedIn, X, Instagram and YouTube.
- Hook banks, content matrices, Hub-and-Spoke repurposing plans, VSLs.
- Platform rules baked in: algorithm weights, retention targets, pixel-exact safe zones.
Benefits
- Beat the scroll. Hooks engineered for the first two seconds, not written by vibes.
- Retention by design: and it shows you exactly which beats hold the viewer.
- One idea → a full distribution set: script, shot list, and posts for every platform.
- Stops sounding like AI. Named frameworks instead of generic filler.

# Creator Systems: Welsh, Hormozi, Galloway & DM Funnels
Sustainable output comes from repeatable systems, not daily inspiration. Use these when the user wants a content engine, value positioning, packaging, or a distribution/conversion loop.

## Justin Welsh — systematized ideation + distribution
### Content Matrix
A grid that turns ideation from a creative problem into a mechanical one. Themes on one axis, writing styles on the other; intersect them to generate dozens of ideas in one session.
- **Vertical axis — thematic pillars** (e.g. Solopreneurship, Systems & Scaling, Productivity).
- **Horizontal axis — writing styles** (e.g. Listicle, Contrarian, Actionable, Present vs. Future, Observation, X vs. Y).
| Theme \ Style | Listicle | Contrarian | Actionable | Present vs. Future |
| ------------- | ------------------------ | ----------------------------- | --------------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| Pillar A | "5 tools that…" | "Why [norm] is wrong…" | "How to [task] in 3 steps" | "[Domain] in 2026 vs. the old way" |
| Pillar B | "3 workflows that save…" | "Why [common move] is a risk" | "How to document [process]" | "Manual vs. AI-driven [X]" |
Fill the blank matrix in `assets/content-matrix-template.md` with the user's actual pillars and styles, then generate one headline per cell.
### Hub-and-Spoke distribution
Repurpose instead of re-create, to minimize burnout:
- **Hub** — one high-value long-form piece per week (e.g. a newsletter, or a long-form video).
- **Spokes** — deconstruct the Hub into **4–6 unique short posts** for LinkedIn, X, etc., **staggered over several weeks.** Each spoke carries a CTA back to the Hub.
```
┌─ Spoke 1: Story-driven post (Mon, Wk 1)
├─ Spoke 2: Tactical listicle (Tue, Wk 2)
[Hub: long-form] ─┼─ Spoke 3: Contrarian take (Wed, Wk 3)
(newsletter) ├─ Spoke 4: Visual infographic (Thu, Wk 4)
└─ Spoke 5: Analytical case study (Fri, Wk 5)
```
Pattern used by other creators too: Dan Koe publishes a long-form newsletter, embeds a matching YouTube video at the top, and breaks core lessons into short posts. Both Koe and Welsh have extended distribution onto Substack to use its native recommendation engine for recurring organic growth.
Produce the actual staggered calendar (which spoke, which style, which day/week) — not a description of the method.

## Alex Hormozi — value formulation + scripts
### The Value Equation
How a prospect evaluates an offer:
```
Dream Outcome × Perceived Likelihood of Achievement
Perceived Value = ───────────────────────────────────────────────────
Time Delay × Effort and Sacrifice
```
To raise perceived value, **maximize the top two drivers and minimize the bottom two.** Example: a $50k liposuction commands its price because it promises an immediate outcome with high perceived likelihood and almost no time delay or effort; a $5 weight-loss ebook promises the same outcome but reads as low value because it demands months of dieting (time delay) and discipline (effort). When writing an offer or value-driven content, foreground outcome + likelihood, downplay time + effort.
### Promise / Proof / Path (video script frame)
- **Promise** — open by stating the precise, high-value result the viewer will get.
- **Proof** — immediately give credentials/results: why you have the authority to teach this.
- **Path** — deliver step-by-step instructions, minimizing friction and effort (ties straight back to the Value Equation).

## Paddy Galloway — Click & Watch packaging
Treats video as a two-step optimization: **win the click, then sustain the view.** Average creators spend ~95% of effort on filming/editing and treat the thumbnail and title as an afterthought; top creators (Noah Kagan, MrBeast, Red Bull) spend up to **30% of the production lifecycle on ideation and packaging** before shooting a frame.
- **Winning the click (packaging):** build a curiosity gap in title + thumbnail. Packaging must feel _recognizable_ in the niche but carry an _unexpected twist_. Borrow comparison structures from unrelated niches — `"$1 vs. $100"`, `"1 Hour vs. 24 Hours"` — to stay fresh and accessible.
- **Sustaining the view (retention):** the first three seconds must _validate the click_ — match the energy, tone, and subject the thumbnail promised. A mismatch between thumbnail and opening kills retention.
Worked result: astrophotographer Ian Lauer reframed "Photographing the Milky Way" into the comparison format "Photographing the Milky Way in 10 Minutes, 1 Hour, and 24 Hours" — views went from a ~2,000 baseline to over 1 million. The lever was packaging, not footage.
When packaging is requested, produce **3–5 title options** (at least one comparison-structure) and a thumbnail concept for each (subject, text, the curiosity gap it opens), and note how the opening 3s will pay off the click.

## Comment-to-DM conversational funnels
Platforms penalize posts that send users off-network, so "link in bio" reach has fallen. Replace it with a comment-to-DM loop (tools: ManyChat, CreatorFlow, LinkDM).
The loop:
1. **Algorithm signal boost** — hundreds of users comment a trigger keyword (e.g. `"SHIFT"`, `"TOUR"`); the platform reads the engagement-depth spike and boosts the post.
2. **Instant conversation delivery** — the automation DMs the requested resource link at peak interest → far higher conversion than a passive bio link.
3. **Double-action engagement** — it also posts a public reply under the comment ("check your inbox"), adding another comment and visually pulling other scrollers into the loop.
Pricing note: ManyChat prices by total contacts; flat-rate alternatives (CreatorFlow, LinkDM) start ~$9/mo.
**Meta Ads "dark post" scaling** (paid): connect the DM automation to ads that don't appear on the public feed.
```
[Create ManyChat trigger] → [Select "Send Instagram Message" CTA in Meta]
→ [Choose "Partner App" in Message Template] → [Link the active trigger]
```
1. Build the qualifying conversation flow in ManyChat (capture email before delivering the link).
2. In Meta Ads Manager, set the CTA to "Send Instagram Message."
3. In Message Template, choose **Partner App** (not native Meta templates).
4. Meta pulls the trigger list from the connected ManyChat account; select the matching trigger to link the dark ad to the flow.
**When writing organic social CTAs, default to a comment-keyword CTA** (e.g. "comment WORD and I'll DM you the [resource]") rather than an external link — it both converts better and boosts reach. Always include one consistent, simple CTA in the body copy to lower the barrier and make conversion repeatable.
