1. Who we are

This website and the services offered through it are operated by [to be completed by the owner], [to be completed by the owner] ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of the site, your account, any membership you subscribe to and anything you buy in the store. By creating an account or making a purchase you accept them.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You sign in with your email address, using a one-time link we email to you or a password you set. Give us an email address you control and keep access to it: it is how we confirm your account, send receipts and let you back in.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.

3. Free vs member content

Some articles are open to everyone. Some articles and courses are free but require a registered account. Others are for members only. A membership gives you access to the member articles, courses and their downloads for as long as your subscription is active. Each page says which of these applies before you open it.

4. Billing, renewal and cancellation

A membership is a subscription. The price and billing period are shown before you pay. It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep member access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If a renewal payment fails we may retry it, and member access ends if it remains unpaid.

5. One-off store purchases

The store sells digital products for a single payment. When payment is confirmed we give you a licence to download and use the product for your own personal or internal business use. You may not resell, share or redistribute the files, or make them publicly available. Download links are personal, expire after a short time and each order has a limit on the number of downloads; contact us if you reach it for a legitimate reason.

6. Downloads

Downloads require an account. You receive a licence for your own personal use. You may not redistribute them.

7. Digital goods with a serial number

Each purchase receives one unique serial number shown in the account and sent by email. The buyer must keep it confidential. A serial number is delivered immediately and therefore, where the law allows and with the buyer's consent at checkout, the right of withdrawal ends once it is revealed. Refund terms: [to be completed by the owner]. If stock runs out after payment, the order is fulfilled when stock is added or refunded on request.

8. Refunds

Refund terms: [to be completed by the owner]

Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund or to withdraw from a purchase that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

9. Taxes

Prices are shown before checkout. Where the law requires us to charge VAT, sales tax or a similar tax, it is calculated for your location through Stripe Tax and shown at checkout before you pay.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share your account, or give others access to member content or purchased files;
  • copy, scrape or bulk-download content, or get around access controls or download limits;
  • interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission, or overload it with automated requests;
  • use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.

11. User comments and feedback

Members can comment on articles, and signed-in users can send us feedback. You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display it on the service, and, for feedback you send us, to publish it as a testimonial if we choose to. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that you have no right to share. We may moderate, hide or remove comments and feedback.

12. Comments and likes

Members may comment and like content. Comments must be lawful and civil, with no spam or advertising. The operator may remove content and suspend accounts. The user keeps ownership of their comments and grants us a licence to display the comment on the site. Comments stay visible, attributed to "deleted user", after an account is deleted.

13. Intellectual property

The articles, courses, videos, downloads, design and software of this site belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. Apart from the personal access and licences described in these terms, you receive no rights in them.

14. Course certificates

When you complete every lesson of a course we issue a certificate of completion in the name shown on your account at that moment. Each certificate has its own link, which anyone who has the link can open; share it only with people you want to see it. A certificate records that you completed the course on this site. It is not an accredited qualification.

15. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove content and features. If we permanently withdraw something you paid for and have not yet received the benefit of, contact us and we will put it right.

16. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings; an active subscription is cancelled first. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, for example by sharing paid content. Sections that by their nature should survive (licences you granted, liability, governing law) continue after your account is closed.

17. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Content on this site is for general information and education. It is not professional advice, and you rely on it at your own judgment. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [to be completed by the owner]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects an active subscription we will tell you by email before it applies, and you may cancel if you do not agree.
