Ideogram released Vector 1.0, a dedicated model designed to produce scalable SVG illustrations from text prompts and convert raster JPG and PNG images into vector layers.

Vector 1.0 outputs native vector curves, distinct layers, and editable gradients that can be imported directly into Figma or Adobe Illustrator for design work, or embedded directly into codebases as clean SVG markup.
The model supports a variety of visual styles including line art, engravings, pop art, flat fills, and icon sets. It is accessible through Ideogram's web application and via API endpoints dedicated to text-to-vector generation and raster-to-vector tracing.
What it is
- Native SVG output: Generates editable vector paths, clean layers, and gradients rather than raster pixels.
- Raster vectorization: Converts existing JPG and PNG raster images into scalable SVG files.
- Design tool support: Exported assets open directly in Figma, Illustrator, or web development workflows.
- Flexible styling: Handles iconography, branding assets, apparel graphics, and typography across diverse art styles.
