Google's new frontier model, Gemini 4 Argon, is reaching more users. Google AI Pro subscribers are getting early access: Google's email says it is in the Gemini app and in AI Mode in Search. It also appears as gemini-4-argon with a "New" badge in Google Cloud's Agent Platform studio.

Google announced Argon on September 30, 2026, first for a small group of cyber defenders. The plan was to widen access to developers, companies and consumers, starting with paid API customers and Google AI Ultra subscribers. That rollout is now under way.
