Summarize with AI

Amazon has launched two Bee devices that turn conversations into summaries and to-dos. Bee Frontier is a wearable that costs $74.99 and is available now at Amazon.com. Bee Eclipse is a phone attachment that starts at $99.99 and will be available soon. Some features need Bee Pro, which costs $11.99 per month.

Both devices work without a subscription for basic summaries and 14 days of memory. Amazon has not given a ship date for Bee Eclipse or a list of countries.

What it is

  • Bee Frontier: worn on the wrist or clipped to clothes. Up to seven days of battery life, USB-C charging and IP67 water resistance. Colors: Onyx, Lavender and Sage.
  • Bee Eclipse: attaches magnetically to the back of a phone and is MagSafe compatible. More than 21 days of battery life on a single charge. Colors: Silver, Midnight, Honey and Blush.
  • What both do: turn conversations into summaries, insights and to-dos. After a call or meeting, Bee can surface action items, draft follow-up emails or create calendar invites.
  • Apps: connects to Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. The Bee app is on iOS and Android.
  • Alexa+: users can ask Alexa for hands-free summaries and to-dos.
  • Amazon.com: Amazon says connecting Bee to Amazon.com "enables even more personalized shopping recommendations", including product recommendations on the Amazon homepage based on items mentioned in conversations.
